I was just wondering why mmorpg cant look like the latest single player game with regard to ingame graphics and physics?Why do mmorpg graphics pale in comparison to Single player games like heavenly sword or Oblivian?
Mmo's try to appeal to the masses. WoW is successful because it can be played on pretty much any pc.
There are mmo's out there with graphics that compare to single players like you mentioned. Vangaurd and AoC come to mind. AoC has amazing graphics, but the game sucks imo.
