What MMORPG online game had the best pet system?

I want to know what good MMORPG game had the best pet system. I really want to play online games but i also want it with a sidekick.What MMORPG online game had the best pet system?
Um, only have experience with Lord of the Rings Online and Guild Wars. Both I like. They level with you.



In LotRO there are two classes with pets: Lore Master and Captain. For a Lore Master a jeweler (crafting profession) can craft different lockets using recipes (that you can either get in a Auction House or as drops from mobs) to change the looks and attributes (stats) of your pet. For a captain, you can get better armor for it, you can also change the looks of it (a tailor, another crafting profession, can craft them for you). In situations where pets are a hindrance, a captain can use "banners" in their place. Captains are mostly a support/buffage class, and the banners provide buffing for the group.



The third Guild Wars, Night Fall, introduced "heroes". They are esentially "pets" that level up with you and you fully control. You do get to set their stats as they open up when they level, and their gear (not the armor though. Armor goes up automatically for them and you can't change the looks). I haven't played it in a while, but you can go out with a full group of just you and your "heroes" and cover most if not all the content of the game.
