What is a good free to play fantasy mmorpg without any real life money item shops?

I love free to play fantasy mmorpgs, but i actually despise most of them because of item shops. Item shops kill the experience by creating unfair, overpowered characters. Please suggest a free to play fantasy mmorpg with no item shops, there can be a subscription to get extra content just no item shopsWhat is a good free to play fantasy mmorpg without any real life money item shops?
There aren't many free-to-play mmorpgs. If you don't mind a one-time payment, I strongly recommend Guild Wars. If not, Runescape is pretty much your only option for free games.

It has an item shop.every game has. BUT! No matter what you buy from there the game is still balanced because you cant buy armor. You can buy Premium which helps you get more exp but its nothing gamebreaking. This game has good balance. Im a lvl 129 And i know what im talking about. The game has really good skill effects. Probs the best one out there. and you can have pets . Its like a Hi-Tech world because it has Astral Bikes and Hi-Tech looking armour. Also very easy to level up in the start. to level 100 its easy because of quests.

And every FREE game needs an item shop because how can they keep the servers up when they get no money for the game. Its just optional.

League of Legends. Downloadable, strategy game, fun once you know how to play... KNOW HOW TO PLAy is the key part in the fun. You can buy stuff with real live cash but it is just for looks, not creating unfair characters. Not RPG though.
