I am playing an MMORPG called Cabal and i've gotten my character to a fairly respectable level and I was just curious if after betas for Online RPGs if they usually reset everything and make you start over again, i've never played a beta before so I don't really know what happens when they are over.What usually happens after a beta for an MMORPG, do you lose your characters and half to start over again?
is it close or open beta?
If close beta , then yes when it go open-beta your character will be deleted but they usually let you keep your name and maybe special gift item for your trouble. Your job in a close beta is really to test out the game so the bugs will be taken out before it goes open beta.What usually happens after a beta for an MMORPG, do you lose your characters and half to start over again?
sometimes but most of the time no.
