If you can upgrade to a different OS, then you could get Guild Wars. You just have to pay for the disc and after that, there are no payments what-so-ever.
If you want a 3-D game similar to WOW, but is free and easy to use, I recommend an underated MMORPG called "Last Chaos" I didn't find out about it until a week ago, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Here's the link:

Sherwood Dungeon, a MMORPG, where you defend your honor in combat with players from around the world. Sherwood features an infinitely deep dungeon filled with monsters.
There are dragons (along with other monsters, such as spiders, giants, and etc), dungeons, levels, clans (ran and operated by users), a user list, different teleports (with monsters with different degrees of difficulty), and much more. Best of all, Sherwood Dungeon is a browser-based game. It runs on Shockwave, so if you have the updated version of Shockwave, there is no download!! There are also no accounts, so you can change your name and character with every visit. Whenever you type /logout it automatically saves your level, weapons, and etc onto your computer. And it's absolutely free!!

umm lets see check out maplestory, dragonfable, adventure quest..not too great of graphics but still pretty fun also with dragons and such.....dragonfabel obviously has dragons init and maplestory is a very good game..dont kno about dragons init but its pretty fun!...lol Btw these r partly free maplestory is completly free but dragonfabel has some free stuff....for everything in the game its 15 bucks...same with adventure quest....i think they are both made by the same people...lol!
