What is a very good free MMORPG that is extremely fun?

I used to really be into Runescape and now I am looking for another free MMORPG that is similar to Runescape, but intended for slightly older gamers (15+). I am interested in a game where you can complete lots of quests, collect items, explore different worlds, and fight all different types of creatures.

I think most any game on this list would be a good possibility for you based on the description you gave. Some games on the list with great graphics are Sword of the New World, Rappelz, Cabal, Perfect World! I'm sure you'll find something you like.
